How to resign eboots 3.55 games to 4.21 CFW

Hi I have updated my PS3 to CFW 4.21, I have software to change the eboots to resign them to 4.21.

The question I have is that when I do this it give me a new eboot file (EBOOT.BIN.BAK) what do I do ?

(1) Rename the file to EBOOT.BIN and replace this with the original EBOOT file ?

(2) Add this file to the program with the EBOOT file

(3) delete the EBOOT file and replace it with this & keep the file name the same ( EBOOT.BIN.BAK)

the eboot.bin.bak is the original eboot.bin file you just changed. the new file is the eboot.bin file

You have to use multiMan to rip your disc to your HDD.

You keep it in case you need it later.

You probably have the same problem as I do.......when I use the program it only gives me the Eboot.bin.bak file but no resigned Eboot.

Yeah, good luck with that tool, I tried to resign my Marvel vs Capcom 2 PSN cracked eboot and God of War Ghost of Sparta HD, but no luck. I keep getting:
* Warning: Skipped decryption of section 005 (marked encrypted but key/iv index out of range)
* Warning: Skipped decryption of section 006 (marked encrypted but key/iv index out of range)[*] ELF written to EBOOT.ELF
For my Marvel vs Capcom 2 NPUB30068
And I'm not sure I put the so called fixed Eboot.bin in the right location on the PS3.

I wish there was a better tool with a better tutorial. I'm trying to resign the cracked eboot to play the full game.

A 4th times a chaarm, I got my Marvel vs Capcom 2 trial, now its duplex cracked boot re-signed for Rogero CFW 4.30 WORKING as a full game. the "Trial" is no longer on the game main menu and I can select all characters!! I will share my boot!

anything that was cracked by Duplex or NODRM will work on the 4.30cfw. I can confirm this, i have 53 titles and checked them all and they booted up and work just fine, same with all my backups that were fixed with either NODRM, Duplex, or Zombiekillah's patches. if you have games already on there before updateing to 4.30cfw there is no need to resign them. I even checked all the 4.21cfw signed homebrew and all are working fine.
