To dump NAND/NOR:

mmOS-multiMan
>Select any file->Open in HEX viewer->[SELECT]->[START]->DUMP LV2(NO)->DUMP LV1(NO)->DUMP FLASH(YES)

Dump is created on USB device.

Install Toggle QA pkg from a 3.55ofw/cfw, ps3 should beep, to test it worked you should go to 'Network Settings' and use the button combo.

L1 + L2 + L3 (press left stick) + R1 + R2 + dpad down.

Once pressed a few new options should appear.

Now dude do some searching as its all here a million times.

Wow Rogero is the man..for last whole week reading posts on many sites about 4.21cfw,4.25cfw and 4.30cfws and as much tempted each time to update from my slim with 3.55 kmeaw i always had a thought its ps3 and not pc where u can install any software at will..so wait for others (testers with flashers)to try and sadly the wait teaches me that many jump to all that is new and mess up..these fws have successfully been installed on some and brick on many too or had some bugs still..it wud have been good if rogero or any developer release well tested and stable cfw with no bugs left for those who cant afford brick and flashers and also no one wud b tainting their name after such generous hard work..as for as new games playing wow again nfs mw,moh warfighter,sleeping dogs,dishonoured etc have got 3.55 fix so my patience has been fruitfull..guys just 1 friendly advise all new ps3 models are not downgradeable yet so those who have 1 such downgradable ps3 should cherish it with love and not experiment with it(also for any future cfw) if u dont know what are u doing and risk it with brick or unsatisfied or unstable or unplayable games or homebrews and unnecessarily tainting or pressurising the developers ..and forum is for knowledge so read more and ask less(as nearly all questions will b answrd) and help all..thanks..happy gaming...

Just about to get my hands on a 2002a which should have 3.55 or less to replace my bricked phat courtesy of 4.21 v1.09 and my lack of patience

So this cech 2002a, should i:

A) Goto 3.55 OFW then over to CFW4.30, or
B) Goto Rogero 3.55 v3.7 first, then onto CFW 4.30?

Also noticed top right hand corner that there is no controller battery info!?

How do you get it back and out of demonstration mode?

There was a dev_blind patch, or an updated CFW pup you could install from Rogero to fix that.

Basically update your installation, and it will fix it. (use the latest download from rogero : the triple pack)
