But is not necessary update.
At this exact moment i with my PS3 Slim on PSN using OFW 4.30 without UPDATE.
And my friend with PS3 Fat CFW 4.30 with no problem.

Yep. Game updates does not require PSN access.

It didn't remove anything, and that is a pity because i want the Singstar icon to be removed :/

I remember when I had my PS3 Slim on 4.11 FW, I asked you guys if it was worth updating and some of you told me to do so.

So I did, and by default I downloaded 4.21 FW the optional firmware instead of 4.20 FW. Not exactly optional.

They could've offered to allow me to either download & install 4.20 FW or 4.21 FW.

@Willie C. @marty370 , have you two forgotten $ony's PS3 4.25 FW that caused thousands of bricks for legit PS3 owners? Yeah, that sucked.
