If that was in the works, I am sure someone would have front paged it. That would some serious news.

As for newer consoles (CECH-3k/4k), lv0.2 keys would need to be released/cracked. Perhaps even more than that since Sony no doubt put in extra protection.

The thing I do not like is how the PS3Devwiki does not have almost anything on Bootldr2 or lv0.2.

To go to any CFW you need to have the older ps3 (old bootloader) and you need to be on 3.55 (attainable via downgrade given that the lowest FW that the ps3 came with is 3.55 or below)

The thing people should realize when patching EBOOTS etc. is to keep a copy of the original files. Damn if I recall this has come about before. ALWAYS KEEP THE ORIG!!!!!
