So your saying the 3.55 patches I have on my 3.60+ games will work on 4.21/4.31 CFW without resigning them or undoing the patch by reverting to unmodded eboots.?

Arent the keys they are signed with revoked in +3.60 FW? Or has Rogero re-added the calculated/3.55 appldr keys to this new CFW?

You can just delete the 3.55 fixed eboots, update the game and play. Or using original eboots for the old games.

I'll change my cfw just to play actual disc games. Even though backups are more accesible. Hopefully I don't walk that yellow brick road if I do.

Just rename your old eboot's if you have them saved, or delete GAMEdata --> update the games you have via MM and you're good to go.

A little trip down memory lane,once upon a time i remembered ppl cying for a new cfw to come out cause they claimed that 3.55 is years old.Now that we have a cfw frenzy going on and ppl are acting like kids!!!.cause they want to stay on a cfw that has being outdated for 5 years now,well i dont knw bout u guys but i sure as hell wont be stayin on this cfw anymore regardless of the 4.xx cfws are not as homebrew friendly as 3.55,eventually its gonna come.cause if i rememberd correctly 3.55cfw was once in the same boat and we all updated to it blindly,We need to move together as a scene to move forward and not apart from eachother if we stick together then am sure we can make this new cfw as stable as 3.55.....are we being bias?...

I cant believe that we now have 4.xx cfw which u dont need to worry bout fixing eboots/patches and now we complain and say that we are sticking to 3.55,i think thats why the devs dont share their finding cause we are clearly spoilt brats and our heads are still up our asses....any one with a brains or idiot with a brains for that matter would grab this new cfw by the horns....wow wat a scene this is i feel sad.

so people, here it is the conclusion: Do whatever you like with your own PS3. no one can push you to take the 4.XX CFW nor leave the 3.55 CFW, no one. it's a freedom to choose whatever you like as long you're happy with that.

It is easier to update when you have more than 1 CFW PS3 all i can say . I have 4 & i am still on 355 ,but if Rebug comes around.? I will update 1 especially if i can have my DLC i own like on 355, but on my 4xx CFW ,then it will be worth it .Already have everything i need except that.

If you can play the game ,why should you update .. Just wait it out like myself ,in time you will get a better stable CFW ,then update ..

If you primarily play Japanese games there isn't even a choice, it's 4.30 or bust. Gravure For You, here I come!!!
