Hello. Looking for some help. I updated to 4.30 over 4.21. It updated fine no issue. My ps3 boots with the Rogero screen so I assume it updated fine, and shows 4.30 in system info. But I dont have option to install packages fun back up managers. Am I missing something. I'm not new to this I know you all can be harsh on Noobs. Any ideas?

Apparently you didn't read any of the many guides available since Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0) was released, none of the guides says to install 4.30 over 4.21.

Any problem that arises because of what you did, its because you didn't follow the installation instructions, its not a problem with the CFW.

I don't know what was your reason, sorry if it sounds rude, but apparently, my assumption is, maybe laziness?

Anyway, the proper procedure was:

1- Downgrade CFW 4.21 to CFW 3.55 by using Rogero's special downgrade PUP (MD5: 49d80e07fc1f5ca1b0840e02e94635db) via Recovery Mode boot.
2- Install "Toggle QA" + run "Toggle QA" + confirm QA Flag key combo over Network Settings item on the XMB.
3- Install Rogero CFW 3.55 CFW (v3.7) (MD5: 8f8166b25d6bed891f292c77de5c4b28) via Recovery Mode boot.
4- Confirm QA key combo is still working over Network Settings item on the XMB.
5- Install Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0 / Patched) (MD5: 7ADF524594D46EF669F4C64E07462631) via Recovery Mode boot.

Are you serious?...yes, installing a CFW will "Jailbreak" your PS3, and allow you to enjoy of the many things available on the PS3 Scene, specially Homebrew.

First of all, you definitely are presenting lack of knowledge of what has happened since the begining of the PS3 scene, so please before you come here with less than 10 posts, and talk non-sense, go read the forum, do some research, take notes, and then come back if you still think the PS3 hasn't been hacked.

Btw, the statement "PS3 has been hacked", is not a "thought", it is a "fact", what use you find of the available features it provides while hacked, its you personal perspective.

I can give the latest Wacom Intuos Digital Tablet to a 3 years old baby, a powerful computer with all the digital Illustration programs already installed and registered, but at the end of the day, what can the 3 years old do with all that advanced equipment?...you got it, nothing, because he is not yet prepared and doesn't have the proper capacity and knowledge to use them for what they were made for.

Hope you have it clear now, the fact that you don't see anything useful on the current PS3 Hacks, doesn't mean it hasn't been done.
