So, do I have to encrypt the file it with the ScetoolGui or is it just enough to rename it to Ebootbin?
thx in advance
Put the original untouched eboot.bin of the game you want inside True ancestor's folder.Run the .bat, press "0", now you have a eboot.elf file.Now use the option number 5 and it's done, you have decrypted the eboot.

By the end, you should have 3 files, the original eboot, that have been renamed to EBOOT.BIN.BAK, EBOOT.SELF, and the decrypted 3.55 eboot(sometimes the file gets smaller, like borderlands 2).

Sorry for the bad English.

did that exactly with GT5 academy. tells me to update to 4.10, so it does not work for me.

EDIT: of course, param.sfo has been patched.

And, I'm still not entirely certain what that guy meant about changing the script for TAER for eboot signed with sdk's above 3.60.
i tried using the FixELF in TAER.
it changes 24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 42 00 01 =====> 24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 34 00 01
then i press 6. because its a game/update
but still i have black screen. im running nba 2k13 in internal hdd.

Thanks for the reply.. I'm testing now.. and no, it's still freezing up after logo. I'm on Rebug 3.55.2, so after I decrypted the eboot.bin I opened the .elf in HxD. Changed 41 ==> 35. Then chose option 6 for NPDRM Game/Update to encrypt the .elf, and transferred the Eboot.bin into the direcory. Hmm, wonder what's going on..

Does anyone know if you can use PS3Tools to Decrypt and or Encrypt Eboots and SELF Files?
If so How do you add keysets?
