Not all of us are PS3 devs or have an idea of how many of these things work (I'm a normal developer and don't get it all), so I guess we are "clueless"?

I use scetool gui. When i decrypt the eboot it says[*] Loaded keysets.[*] Loaded loader curves.[*] Loaded vsh curves.[*] Using keyset [appldr 0x0004 03.41][*] Header decrypted.[*] Data decrypted.[*] ELF written to C:\Users\***\Desktop\scetool\EBOOT.BIN.elf.

But when i encrypt it says[*] Loaded keysets.[*] Loaded loader curves.[*] Loaded vsh curves.[*] Error: Please specify an application version.

Help please

still need the command you used to encrypt, maybe a parameter is missing

I've been trying trying to resign a PSN Game (Naughty Bear Panic In Paradise - NPUB30828 4.10 FW) for a while now with no luck.

I've tried with scetool 0.2.9, TAER, PS3tools and still no luck. After resigning it will boot the 505 Games Splash and then hang on black screen.

I've tried signing it with the content-id of my edat from my dev_hdd0/home/000000xx/exdata. I've tried signing it with the content-id the original was signed with and in both instances when I view the EBOOT.BIN it shows the same Klicense.

I noticed that there is a file in the USRDIR called engine.edat, I tried changing the content-id of that to the one in my exdata folder (still with no success). I even tried putting my edat from exdata in USRDIR and no luck.

Do I need to Decrypt the engine.edat and if so, how?

Here's the last command I've tried with scetool:

scetool.exe -0 SELF -1 FALSE -s FALSE -2 0004 -3 1010000001000003 -4 01000002 -5 NPDRM -6 0003004000000000 -b LOCAL -f UP4040-NPUB30828_00-GAMELICENSE00001 -A 0001000000000000 -c EXEC -g EBOOT.BIN -e EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.BIN

i tried using the oldschoolresigner 355 to fix NBA 2k13. the problem is it doesn't work. the script has
FixELF.exe EBOOT.ELF "24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 36" "24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 34" in it

but the eboot.elf has "24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 42"

i tried changing script to be
FixELF.exe EBOOT.ELF "24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 42" "24 13 BC C5 F6 00 33 00 00 00 34"

but it still didn't work i just get a black screen. i would assume i'm using this correctly but any help would be much appreciated. also tried to convert battleship which has 37 and i get a black screen with a little white box to far left. the screen is responsive (in that i can click the ps button to quit) but nba 2k13 just black screen and lockup ps3.
