Hello.
I am a kmeaw user and I am happy with it. And now I can even play online.. so I will wait a little more to update to CFW4.30.

But I really want to know if this update (CFW4.30) would fix the AACS key problem. You know, the system shows a message that say something like "to play this bd you must renew the encryption key. perform a system update to renew the encryption key"

So, if I install Rogero CFW 4.30 these keys will be updated? I am asking because the ps3 is the only bluray drive that I have, and it would be great to have it back.

i think it updates it so yes also i think it lets you play online

If I remember correctly the key is in the VSH.self

That contains 4.21 DEX VSH.elf (Decrypted) You can find the keyset and add it to the VSH.self on 3.55

And tjhooker73.. do you think that a normal person like me could understand how to do it? I mean... ok, I keep me updated with this forum and I know how to use google.. but looks a little complicated. It isn´t a simple string that you could change in the notepad.
I will try to find how to do it before use the 4.30 update anyway. Thank you again!

It s not so easy... The easy way is to update to 4.30 cfw...

AACS key is in AacsModule.spu.isoself which isn't present on DEX.

Since it is present on CEX would it be enough to copy the AacsModule.spu.isoself from a 4.30 CFW CEX to an 3.55 one? Or is that impossible?
