The "rebuild database" should only be used after official higher FW pkg's have been installed and files replaced manually.

If a fixed pkg (with a correct SFO) has been installed, there is no need to rebuild.

thats what I thought ^_^ then im unsure of how to solve his black screen issue :-/

all I did was take my modified files and placed them into the Offical update and repacked them. All the stats said it signed and blarg blarg properly. So im not sure why he is getting black screen :-/ any ideas?

ill try my mates bles version and change the sfo to see if that works
do i need to run the game once before i uninstall the sfo??

not sure what you mean cause if the game dont load how would you do that ^_^

BLES instructions are the same as BLUS, except after you install the FIX PKG you place the BLES SFO i posted into dev_hdd/game/BLUS30982/here. Name the original SFO in that folder to Param.SFO.bak so you have the original SFO in there in case it dont work.

That worked for me when using zombiekillahs BCES all in one update fix PKG for Resistance 3, I was on BCUS version of the game, changed the SFO to the BCES ID and game booted without asking for update ^_^'

although he did tell me that doing it that way is a 50/50 cause not all games will do that, cause of the many translations of the game.

Worked like a charm for me.

Rogero 3.55 v.3.7 on my slim.
Most current multiman.
vitmo release of borderlands 2 blus (downloaded from iptorrents).
External hdd.

I downloaded the 3 rar files, extracted them into pkg, installed, set permissions.

Game fired right up for me, no black screen or anything like that.

I didn't check to see if the dlc works.

is there any other way to convert the eboots, i don't want to have to convert my save file plus everything else to blus, it's time consuming, why can't they just release a 3.55 fix for both regions?

I have the bles fix on first page O.o

Its the SFO for Bles, just install my 1.02 patch then replace the SFO with mine in the update folder. Instructions are on first page :-)
