Well...if im not mistaken, Per console key 0 decripts metldr AND bootldr. So, means of getting pck 0 can potentially break the whole security of the console and it would be the last nail on the coffin for the ps3.

Not necessarily.

Even if they do find a way to retrieve the per console key, it will almost certainly be through an exploit on the ps3 itself (probably via a patched loader or some crazy linux work, both of which are currently impossible to run on 3.56 and higher), or on the flash image of the NAND or NOR, and you cannot get a flash image of your ps3 unless you have a hardware flasher, in which case you can already downgrade.. . Now unless someone finds an vsh exploit, then a lv2 exploit, then a lv1 exploit on higher firmware to be able to run something like linux or whatever starts said process of retrieving pck0, then you may have some glimmer of hope. But really if someone were to find all of those things now with the current knowledge and resources available you could at the very least patch the memory to run whatever you want because all of those chains of trust would already be broken.

The chances of that happening are extremely slim however.

I thought that having lvl0 keys meant that the system was wide open.
