New to JB on PS3 (Because I never new you could). When I restored my settings and reformatted my PS3 it put me back on 4.30.

So to be clear and to dumb it down for myself there is no way for me to get to 3.55 without a flasher correct?

Let the ripping of this N00b begin.

So, you say everybody is dumb because they are not on 3.55? Some people love playing online, are they dumb for that?

Look, honestly it doesn't matter to me, I got a 5 month old custom built gaming PC, and other systems, but I got this PS3 for free from my bro, and his dumb ass updated it not me. It also had YLOD and I repaired it and threw in a 320gb drive in this phat bc 80gb model.

I am waiting for any future exploit, but whatever.

Sure, people are not always smart for updating, but perhaps a family member did it beforehand?

Anyway, saying nobody cares about OFW people is ludicrous, anyway, if that was the case then why does the community piss all over themselves because the keys were leaked?

I honestly believe the PS3 will be full open as the PSP was, and yes, I think people need to calm the hell down and stop asking if 4.30 is hackable now, it will take at least, if not more than 2 months for coders to sort through all of this and see if there can be an exploit.

Whoa! Chill out man. His message wasn't personally adressed to you.

I'm pretty sure his comment was aimed at all the noobs who are cluttering every thread asking the same damn dreaded question; 4.xx OFW -> CFW.

I don't have anything against ps3 scene noobs, everyone was a noob at some point. The difference is that these noobs don't want to read because they don't really care about hacking and CFW they just want to pirate games.
