also for everyone who got stuck with a ylod ps3 and had to get new ones where it was already updated b4 the flashers came out plus ppl dont need to be on 3.55 to play new games unless you wanna be a pirate lol im updated and enjoy my new games sorry to the people at 3.55 who have to wait til new eboots are available

Not necessarily true, some smart people stayed on 3.55 and have kids that plugged the bloody ethernet cable in and performed an update rendering all the homebrew and linux useless !!

Ps3 doesn't run mkv...
Anyway we can "put into" a ps3 a mp4/avi video or an image jpeg/png (maybe other format) or install a theme that for me was a good way because you can script them but sadly after reading something on psjs i arrived at the conclusion that this is not the way...
PS: there is also the firmware update that i ve not considered logically

Everyone should care about getting ofw-cfw 4.30 working without downgrading.

Your console isnt going to last forever and sooner or later people will need to buy a new console if they want to carry on playing.

It would also be a big up-yours to $ony, which is always welcomed.

There is no "smarter" people, just different choices. If you like 3.55, stay on 3.55. All users are equally important and part of the scene, deserving the same respect.

Creating competitivity where it should not exist is stupid.
