i was getting frustrated as well that Borderlands wasn't working, so, i got the fix from DEFAULT and snkysnake, and put the fix from DEFAULT into the folder of my game and followed snkysnake's instructions for the BLUS fix, afterwards, i set my game on ( External + BD Mirror + USB Patch) and put myself a BD. it's currently running normally. I THINK that app/home WILL NOT WORK, it didn't work for me, if it works for you great but for me it didn't

remember :

1. install 1.02

2. place the eboot in dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30982/usrdir/

3. place SFO in dev_hdd0/game/BLUS30982/

4. reset PS3 and enter RECOVERY MODE and use the REBUILD DATA BASE option. ( it will take about a half hour to rebuild it, least thats what was reported, may take less for you IDK)

someone already tried this and said that it works , so hopefully this solves your problem and you can scavinge on Pandora once more ^_^

Yeah, still not working.I have the error message when trying to install the mechromancer dlc with the 1.02 update already installed, so i erase ALL game data and install the dlc first, then the 1.02 update.I went to MM, and copied the .rif file to \exdata\, and .dat file to \dic\.No new character when i try a new game.

do you already have a game save of this game ? if you already have a character then at main menu hit the button and a list should pop up of all the character classes you can use and mechromancer should be there

Of course i did that.I also tried a new game, and nothing.

maybe the License key needs some resigning, I deleted everything on my PS3 just now and installed the Mechromancer DLC from front page then updated to 1.02 ... loaded game and its there :-/

maybe there is one other file im missing for you to get it to work, but i could swore without resigning the License all you needed was the RIF and DAT

you know what, maybe I have the RIF and DAT files mixed up on front page, download the ones from the pirate DLC list and add those in there and try that

put all 4 of those files in there respected folder, so then you would have 2DAT and 2RIF to put into those folders and let me know

thats the full HEX code of the license key btw

the last part of the string for the license says EDATA 4.0.0.0 W

I wonder if this has anything to do with it working at all
