My personal results switching from Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0) to REBUG 4.21.1 REX

PS3 Model: CECH-2501A

1- Downgraded Rogero CFW 4.30 (v1.0) with REBUG '999' Downgrader 3.55 via Recovery Mode.
2- Installed 'Toggle QA' + Run 'Toggle QA' from XMB.
3- Dehashed via Recovery Mode by installing Rogero CFW 3.55 (v3.7).
4- Verified Toggle QA key combo from Network Settings, all good.
5- Installed REBUG 4.21.1 REX via Recovery Mode.

So far as another used reported, Need for Speed Most Wanted (requires FW 4.25) did not work (unmodified), at least using multiMAN 04.09.00 + BD-Mirror + Standard BD-ROM Emu, so I guess I will need to resign games that require FW 4.25+, but that's OK, this CFW is very nice .

Thanks to REBUG Team for this nice release! I hope to see a REBUG 4.30 REX at some point.

EDIT: Decrypted/Resigned EBOOT.BIN from NFSMW for FW 3.60 and loaded just fine

EDIT2: I know is offtopic, but for those wondering how I decrypted/resigned, here you have:

Decrypt

scetool.exe --decrypt EBOOT.BIN EBOOT.ELF

Encrypt

scetool.exe -v --sce-type=SELF --compress-data=FALSE --skip-sections=TRUE --key-revision=10 --self-auth-id=1010000001000003 --self-vendor-id=01000002 --self-type=APP --self-app-version=0001000000000000 --self-fw-version=0003006000000000 --encrypt EBOOT.ELF EBOOT.BIN

Note: Remember to store a backup of the original EBOOT.BIN just in case.

This is cool but it sounds like they don't plan on frequent updates, so maybe not the best choice if you care more about games than homebrew. I already have a couple games that require 4.25 and I'm sure won't work on this

my ps3 is kmeaw 3.55 fw.. never downgraded it.. bt as per itskamal tut i have to dehash to be on safeside.. i just wana knw will dehashing format my internall hdd??as i dnt want to lose on my data..anyone please tell..
and also many of my games are patched to work on 3.55 cfw wht abt those how to get em working on this cfw??

To get games working on 4.21 CFW

Either get them patched or if that doesn't work, resign them with trueancestor resigner.

This firmware is quite impressive but I was wondering my CFW 3.55 patched games and PSN titles will continue to work? Can anybody confirm this? I will be grateful and be able to install this CFW without any worries. Thanks.

Thanks bro for the reply. But man... it will be a tedious process... I have around 25 PSN titles and 40 PS3 backups! :-( This resigning problem is holding me back from upgrading to any latest CFW.
