What happens when seats of power are suddenly threatened with an opposing force? They do absolutely anything and EVERYTHING to keep their seats of power. $ony for years boasted that their game console was uncrackable as the consoles of this generation one by one were hacked/jailbroken. Then they finally got their money maker cracked, so naturally they try to do everything they can to re-claim that power to hold over our heads their entertainment. Including but not limited to creating legally seen criminals that have done NOTHING illegal to the hardware that THEY paid for.

Here $ony wants to turn their customers into criminals simply because they got butthurt by falling prey like other computer "secured" systems. There is NO computer that is 100% unhackable/crackable. It sure as hell is hard as phuck, but not impossible, so their last resort is to cry out for the US Justice Department because the US acts like a Goddamned police state to the world. Note that they don't go to their home country for help (JAPAN) but have to go to a bully of a country (USA) to try to force people to do what they want because corporations don't want us to be free thinkers. What they gave us is good enough and we should be thankful.

Phuck $ony, phuck the USA, and phuck anyone that tells me that something that I own and that I bought and paid with my own money for, I can not modify.

If, by Sony's definition, the ps3 that we bought with our own money is nothing but a leased product, I want my money back. Why in hell would I pay a one time leasing fee for something that I, in the end, don't own just to play video games on? I have a PC for that.
