Unhappy Bricked CECHH01 Playstation 3

Hello all,

I am a noob here, and I am unsure if I am posting this in the right place, but here goes:

I have a CECHH01 Playstation 3. A week and a half ago, I tried upgrading from OFW 3.55 to Rogero's CFW 4.21 v.1.09. I went into restore mode, renamed file to PS3UPDAT.PUP, and updated my console. As a result, my console now displays a green light upon turning the system on, with no video display. Also, none of my USB ports work.

Are there any cheaper alternatives than using an E3 flasher that I can do to fix this issue? Or, what can I do? (Please, no smart comments. I'm in need of assistance.)

Thank you in advance,

No; to my knowledge, it was never downgraded before. I had purchased it on ebay from someone. However, just in case, I did download the toggle.qa .pkg, installed it, and checked it. I heard the three beeps, and my system went back to the xmb. I then downgraded from CFW 3.55 back to OFW 3.55, then updated from there. (I read in another forum on ps3iso, stating that that was alright.) So, I went ahead and did it--when it was over, I just had a black screen with no video output, no audio, and my USB ports weren't working. I have a PS3 fan that lights up blue when you plug it in, so when i plugged it in, and saw that it wasn't working, that was my first indication that something was seriously wrong. Plus, my controllers won't sync. I even tried going into recovery mode, and resetting the HDMI back to regular video. Still nothing.

At this point, I have no idea what to do...
