Although the change log mentions that "Users with broken BD drives can use 4.21REX in DEX mode with fake BDEMU stick/image for 100% game compatibility", I have tested this feature with Rebug REX 3.55.3 with a working BD Drive.

This means, now we can play games that require a disc on drive without a disc. Amazing!

As the tittle of the thread is saying it's for 4.21 REX Rebug firmware but i really hope Deank or somebody could port it to kmeaw 3.55 aswell

Yes. But you have to use Rebug REX CFWs and you have switch to DEX mode. Which also mean you have to perform a Flash Dump using Rebug Toolbox or MM and patch the valid dump to DEX ID.

Not possible. It requires DEX features. Use Rebug REX CFWs.

I have 3.41 rebug and I never downgrade it to 3.41. I bought this PS3 few years ago through pawn store and it was on 3.41 before I updated to 3.41 rebug and thats what I am using so far but I want everything such as homebrew and ReActPSN the way it was to Rebug REX and also playable with everything including 4.21 games ? I am aware that you must bring all original eboots and original param.sfo first in order to be playable again.

i don't see the covers for "NFS Most Wanted 2012", "Fifa Street 4" and "WWE 13".. anyone has this "problem"? It doesn't update covers even though i selected "auto" option in the menu.. thanks!

I'm using rogero 4.30 cex for few days now and working great. But yesterday I had problem..BluRay drive on PS3 is broken. I guess, because it won't ready disc in it.
I have tried reinstalling CFW from scratch.. rebuilding data.. etc.. and still not working. I just didn't try with cleaning kit. So what should I do? Buy cleaning kit and try to clean the lenses or to install rebug 4.21.1 REX and with DUMMY_BDEMU from MM?

and one more question for deank.. will be the option DUMMY_BDEMU available also for other CFW like rogero 4.30 v1.0 CEX?
