So in theory any ps3 < 3K series can join CFW... Well always could with a flasher.. lol

Sorry if it's a noob question, but if you need a flasher anyways, what's the point? Wouldn't it be better to just go to 3.55, then to 4.30 rogero or rebug?

Just use the MinVerCheck PUP to check your minimum installable version for your console, if it was 3.56 or lower only then this is for you

As I understand it, 3.56 is the base firmware for several PS3 models. They cannot be downgraded to 3.55 under any circumstance. This lets them flash to 4.30 despite being unable to downgrade to 3.55.

so if i get this right,with this we with base firmware 3.56 or lower can use this newly patched pup to use E3 CFW,well question here is,how do i patch the pup? i'm kind of new to the patching,but had a 3.55 kmeaw console before but i sold it. Any help?

No this kind of consoles can not be downgraded to 3.55 CFW it will be bricked if you do that.
It can be downgraded to Jacrib JFW 3.56 CFW or using this patch to be able to install E3 4.30 CFW.

lol dont yous read 3.56 can have a cfw and as DerAgo said he tryed it on a ofw 3.60 ps3 from factory installed this cfw with a flasher so once you go to your local
console repairer if your ps3 console came out with 3.60 he can install this cfw for you then he can take the flasher out
