and i have question when i try to find in wwe 12 eboot dev_bdvd to make it dev_hdd0
i didnt found it so wht can i do with it ?

(2. Open a HexEditor, click on the search tab, click on replace text and change any references from dev_bdvd to dev_hdd0 and save.)

I´m not sure. I just re transferred it to my ps3. It worked with the original .sprx, the one I included in the rar file and even without the sprx like haz367 said. I even checked in retail mode and system software mode.

some game eboots don´t have any references to dev_bdvd. so just fself_npdrm the eboot and cross your fingers.
oh ya, make sure there isn´t any .self files.
if there is you have to do the same thing to them as the EBOOT.
I forgot to mention that on the 1st page. sorry, I´m still learning myself.

Hi, I thought you had jumped back to CEX because you didn´t send the Mass Effect files.
well I downloaded the files and was all set to make your pkg but for some reason the eboot gives me an error when I try to fself it. I´m not sure why. Is that the original eboot or from a fix?
I still want to give it a try, my PC has been acting kind of funny again, but I won´t be around until Monday night.

Yep, I did try to change the PARAM.SFO to 3.55 but when I went to make the pkg it made a comment about the system ver being 4.2 and not 3.55.
so I just left the PARAM.SFO as is because I thought you were on a higher DEX FW.
are you on 3.55? I´m surprised you just don´t use a backup manager.
anyway you can use FTP to delete the original PARAM.SFO and replace the one from the DUPLEX fix, then restart your ps3 in recovery mode and Rebuild Database
or
you can just install this pkg with the Duplex PARAM.SFO included.

the ps3 will probably say you have the same version installed and ask if you want to install anyway.
just say yes.
Now it won´t ask you to update...I think, the PARAM.sfo is set for 3.40 and by installing the pkg it should update the Database.

Yes Iam on 3.55 DEX for a few days because of PSN
