So i do have a ps3 with 4.21OFW which the min ver is 3.56 and i've dumped my nor bios . after checking

Metlder - E9 60 0E 92 - Which i beleive it's not metlder.2

but the Bootldr - 2F 5B 2F 5B - which is says its not downgradable to 3.55

the Question is do i have to reflash the patched nor backup using ps3 fun Mode in E3 ?? 10000000 ?
or another way ( we need a tutorial )

It's more of a suggestion what they should focus more than what they should do. It's more like they opened one more door that would lead into that which is a great start for such thing.

No the ps3 has to be 1. downgradable to atleast 3.56 and 2. doesnt have the new metldr2 ( ultra slims)

so the only consoles affected here are the old slim consoles that couldnt downgrade to 3.55, the super slim consoles are still unhackable

Man, this is nice, but the other day I spent like 5-6 hours trying to make a E3 Flasher Clip (previously used on my NOR ps3) make contact on my cousin's PS3 so I could make a dump, but the mofo didn't work anymore, so I always got 100011000 or whatever the code is (tried using coins and every method), but I definitely will have to order a new E3 NOR Clip (its gonna hurt my pocket a bit atm).

So I couldn't help my cousin downgrade from OFW 4.30, his PS3 has minimum factory FW lower than 3.55, it is one of the first model slim.

Anyway, I hope that some of these nice devs working hard lately, if they have some way to make a method like old days, using an exploit to enter FSM, or anything that let users downgrade "without flasher" from OFW 3.56-4.30, I will be so damn happy because I will be able to finally help my brother from another mother haha xD.

I had downgraded my CECHL04 from 4.25 OFW to 3.55 using Progskeet, it took 1+ hour for soldering-dumping-flashing etc.

u have one that should work, do nothing yet hehe but that one is the rare one on the list "metldr1" the bootldr is ok, normally it would shutdown/brick on the downgrade, now these patches from the "three musketeers" (patched E3? 4.30 COREOS like the 355 one, 2 here for each COREOS?) are supposed to be used on the dump u made, only thing here to keep in mind when using E3 flasher bkpps3.bin and the provided patches, first byte reverse the e3 dump-patch-bytereverse-then flash..let us know it works?

edit the "Patchlist.txt" in the Patchv1 Three Musketeers folder to this:
