Downgrade 4.21 - 3.55 and no hardware is needed!!!
Yes! I got out of the 4.21-3.55.pup from rogero Rebug THankyou so much! Used 9.99 downgrader went to regero a2.7 3.55 and then to this new REX 3.55 from rebug! I would say it was very possible to downgrade from a higher ofw if you used this 999 downgrader. TO me this file was extremely helpful I didn't want to pay someone to flash it! Hopefully someone with a flasher would try this out and then we wouldn't need flashers it would be a complete
 software downgrade from any firmware Glory be to the hackers of PS3s!!!

Well I just dropped in to say thank you to GregoryRasputin.
I had a fat ps3 3.55 before but then go ylod..Reballing it didn't not pan as I ripped pads when lifting the rsx chip.. Anway finally got the E3 after awhile of waiting and waiting for progskeet 1.2, come back here to load up ultimate fool proof guide downgrading tut and I'm forced to view this page..Which I might add was awesome to be forced to view as I was just going to load up a rebug firmware. I've successfully downgraded 4.25 to 3.55 and am now running Rogero CEX-4.30 v1.00 / multiMAN ver 04.08.01 / Showtime 04.01.208..I realize alot get worried about bricks but if you read, almost and if not everything is on this site and you should have no problems if you just read enough and follow directions  Looking forward to my second downgrade tomorrow Thanks again GregoryRasputin and to others that made it possible..Also to ps3hax.net for all the useful info I've obtained in as little as 8 hours to perform this install

Hi, can anyone help with a PS3 Problem.
I updated fine too Rogero CFW 4.30, was working fine until a game locked up and PS3 couldn't be shut down properly. Now when PS3 boots it's stuck in a loop trying to fix, as it says it corrupt. Is there any fixes for this. Thx in advance, Marty. Think I've sorted PS3 out, I just went to recovery menu and rebuilt database. Seems to have worked. ok i was big into ps3 hacking like a year or more ago and im on 3.55 rebug cfw (forget the exact name)and i have multiman 4.04.03
anyways i was once experienced and now im a noob again... can people just tell me what is new out there, i understand u guys dont like noob questions but im not seeing what is new in newer cfw's... and where do i get most recent multiman now that i cant via ps3??? thanks for understanding... i do like to read plenty but i dont see this info organized nicely somewhere and if it is please post a link THANKS! ************* [ - Post Merged - ] *************

just tell me everything will be ok BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ;D ok will read wiki now, thanks  what about games i have installed with 3.55 eboots and pkg fixes??? if wiki addresses this then cool but i literally have over 100 games on my external hdd all with fixed eboots where it was necessary... do i need to go get original eboots again??? why did i come back im starting to get a headache HAHAHAHAHAHA Last edited by ScripterSlashGamer; 11-04-2012 at 11:24 AM. |
