Been away for a while and i need an update - PS3Hax Network

Hi guys , i been away for a while from the ps3 hack scene and would like to know what needs to be done to get back into playing some of the new games.

Last time i played a game on my ps3 was uncharted 3. So my ps3 is on kmeaw 3.55 with some version of rogero manager.

What i would like to know is what needs to be done to my ps3 if i wanna play recent games and the ones who got released a little after uncharted 3.

Can i just instal a new game and let the manager fix the eboot and start playing or do i have some patching or updating to do ?

Some quick guidelines would be appreciated as well as reading material. I just wanna be pointed in the right direction.

@Seph213 Dehash your system using Toggle_QA.PKG, Install Rogero CFW 4.30 V1.02 or ErmaC CFW 4.30 V1.01 via Recovery Mode. install the latest MM and you can now play new games without patching something.

After reading ur msg i cheked the tutorial section and found kamel's upgrade to 4.30. He says to instal rogero CEX4.3 v1.00 . Will that accomplish the same thing as the V1.02 you suggested ?

pardon my noobness but how does this toggle_oa.pkg works ? find it on the net , put it on a usb and just run it in the ps3 ?

yes, that's right. you can either play with discs or backups installed on HDD.

Ok so i installed rogero cfw 4.3. I now have multiman and an old version or rogero manager.

Before doing the update i had 3 games installed on the HDD. Uncharted 3 , bleach and infamous 2 . None of the games work right now . wen ever i try to play a game it comes back to the main ps screen .

Is there something xtra i need to do in order to play games ?

You need to put the original eboots back on them, you have modified eboots and they are not needed for 4.30

Ok so after instaling rogero 4.3 , multiman and deleting all my old games i decided to download a game to test out this new cfw.

So i downloaded resident evil 6 , ftp from my pc to ps3 , log into MM , try to play the game but it keeps getting me back to the xmb.

I tried with a random cd and without same result.

tried to set internal and BD miror still brings me back to xmb

tried to set on direct boot and it gives me an error 8002291B and then tells me it failed to instal trophy's please exit the game ..

So what am i missing or doing wrong here ?

Edit: turns out i deleted the trophy files of the game before deleting the ones from my acount. So i restored the trophy folder i deleted , rebooted the and now **** works ...

Ok new issues lol ... I finaly got the game to load and i can play BUT i dont see the body's , just see the head of the caracters , i can see threw walls , i cant see the zombies at all and the game will not load saved games so everytime i turn on the ps3 i have to start the game from the begining ..

Any way to fix all this ?
