But I have one question, did you qa flag your PS3 before you went to DEX?
No.

I only QA flagged once I was back on CEX with Rogero 3.7

@JonahUK Now that you are on 4.21 REX, have you try using Rebug Toolbox to do CEX <-> DEX switching on your NAND?

@gingerbread

Not yet, I've only tested games and PSN so far. Not really played with it to be honest.

Thank you for this guide, moved back to CEX from DEX on my Metal Gear bundle fat with zero problems.

3.55 CEX MFW (kmeaw) -> (CaptainCPS-X's NAND CEX to DEX guide) -> DEX 3.55 OFW -> DEX 4.20 OFW -> DEX 4.25 OFW -> DEX 3.55 OFW -> (this guide) -> CEX 3.55 OFW -> and beyond!

4. Put the "Preloader" extracted files onto the root of your USB stick along with the NAND backup named "rflash.bin" and put it in the far right USB of the PS3.
JonahUK, I have two NAND backups: CEX.rflash.bin & DEX.rflash.bin. In this step I have to use the CEX.bin right? I'm sorry for this noob question, but I'm afraid to brick my PS3 with this little details.

Ps. This CEX.bin have 256 Mb's, this is the correct size for the Preloader backup right?

Thanks btw!

If you are flashing back to CEX, then yes, use the CEX.bin renamed to "rflash.bin". 256mb is the correct size.
239mb or lower isn't a preloader NAND backup.

You can double-check the ID with a hex editor if you are not sure (ie., make sure its not 82)
You should have advance.cfg, lv2diag.self and rflash.bin ONLY on your USB.

Double check the advance.cfg to make sure it is set to write flash and not read flash.
The one in the archive I upped is already preset to write.

From here onwards, do NOT use the power switch to turn on/off. Use the front panel instead.

Thanks man! I don't want to bother you anymore, and I understand if you don't want to do that, but can you please upload the 'Rogero.3.7+lv2.diag' to other site? 'Cause I'm downloading those files at 9 kb/s through filecloud..
