Thumbs up

As i suspected the reason why ferrarri racing legends worked on 4.30cfw with my 3.55 fix is cause it was able to decrypt the sdat file, yes it has an sdat file i didnt notice until awhile ago....so conclusion the fix i posted works but i also need to fix that sdat file which i dont know how to...so until there is a way to fix it then this game cant be played on 3.55 as yet, sorry guys i tried...

But there is a bit of gd news here is back to the future eboot fix disc version....tested it on 3.55 works perfectly enjoy!!!

Updated, keep em coming guys.

I am having issues with klicense (atillas tool) brute forcing, it asks for eboot.bin to be decrypted, I do that and rename it to eboot.bin.elf, but then it asks me for a patch.self?

Confused.com

Edit, I think I'm just being retarded: is klicense only needed for games with sprx/selfs? or no?

The brute forcing tool is only when you are going to patch EBOOT.BIN + SELF/SPRX files together for a EBOOT.BIN only you might need a different approach

As far as I know yes.

The klicensee in the elf is used for the sprx etc

It seems there are multiple sys_proc_param checks so you have change them as well as the usual one.

Also some games have the new SDAT version 4.0.0 that we don't public tools out. We have to decrypted them in a higher firmware than 3.55 and reencrypt with an old sdk to make it work. All those games that nobody can patch like Dead or Alive 5, Starhawk, NBA 2k13 to mention a few thats the problem they have. Thats is sony's latest weapon to stop piracy.

Thought so, I'm just slow as hell today.

@PSXJowie but we have CFW 4.x that could potentially dump them (decrypted) for 3.55 users?

TBH we are making more work for ourselves doing this. Updating from CFW 3.55 to CFW 4.x is the quick fix....

Did my hackable machine over the weekend. Went from 4.21 DEX to Rebug REX 4.21. Tested some of my games and they work with the current patches anyway.

So REX contains back ported blacklisted calculated key set from 3.55?
