The only optimal way for maximum compatibility, is @deank could port CodeUnique feature into MM. Since MM works with most version of CFWs, it is more logical to implement it this way. This would also prevent all freeze or black-screen issues.

When users highlight a game in MM, in the sidebar, there could be "Load CodeUnique". As usual, MM reads the DB from st.dat. When users select "Load CodeUnique", MM brings to another screen with all the Cheats from DB. Users would simply select the codes and enable them. MM could use native XMB assets for "Check Boxes". Once users have selected/Checked the cheats, there could be options below, return to XMB (For PSN Titles.), Start game and Go back .

What do you think?

@aldostools Could you contact dean? I can't able to PM him as he disabled PM.

Thanks.

i think the problem is with peek and poke on later cfws, which also relies on certain firmware offsets. we cannot poke memory on these that easy. and i also think these freeze ups on codeunique are security related.

either it needs time, or we will never see such app. though, i do not think octoxor has any source to codeunique

Hence the reason to use MM instead of updating CU. Since @deank has updated MM to work with latest CFWs. I believe implementing CU in to MM is the best solution.

I really hope DeanK does it.

Thanks DeanK! (In Advance! :P)

Edit: Just thought of it!

To prevent on-line cheating (Fair for all users):
"Load CodeUnique" will be grey out if MM detects IP address. :P

I like that idea, to have MM run then cheats. Which ever is easier, an app, or let MM do it.

it maybe also because of online playing, it will not be converted or released. i mean, i think sony can easily detect eboot hacks or such modifications, but not memory patches.

I Agree... it would be better to have mm run the cheats

Hopefully DeanK can incorporate the universal XMB screenshot enabler (found in code unique) into a future update of multiman. It's the only thing I miss going from 3.55 to 4.*

Would it even be possible?

You can never get it to work on another firmware unless the 'creators' of the app decide to do it.
So the options are:
- Downgrade to 3.55 whenever you want to use cheats
- Wait for an updated ps3usercheat for 4.xxx (it can be any day between today and the year 3000)
- Find a way to load 3.55 kernel on 4.xx

Thanks for the info aldo!

I wonder if @evilsperm could update the rebug toolbox and add an option to load 3.55 kernel on 4.xx. Just like how they switch CEX and DEX kernel.
