So, having read that post, I've got a question. What's the worst game in ps3 history?

I'm not sure. Gundam Crossfire was not that bad, of you could get over the horrible voice acting. Hell, it was the best selling PS3 game on launch of the PS3 in Japan.

Bayonetta on the PS3 was pretty awful, even the developers apologised for the crappy port.

Not good, too blatant.

Again, why would it even matter if you guys got banned. It's not like you're used to having PSN anyway.

Not sure if it works 100% though
This is the theory that has been used all this time, and i think is wrong in concept because:

Multiman (and some other hombrews) has a function to erase the contents of this file, its ok and the PS3 doesnt complains when erasing it, but...

How is possible for an user to have unlocked trophies from a game that is not in this list ?
He unlocked a trophy without playing the game

Edit:
In other words.... i think cfw's can be detected by comparing the trophy info against this file

Edit2:
And i think there are other methods, but is too long to brainstorm here, probably im not objetive because im paranoid with this things

They have been used to having PSN for several months now and it should be permanently available.

Btw, for people that wants to "stealth" his homebrews (i had a few pm's asking this)... i was mentioned in the article because i wrote a good part of the param.sfo page in ps3devwiki, but im not used with online or any cfw detection methods

What you are reading in the profile of your friends is the TITLE (inside PARAM.SFO) that can be something like "gran turismo 5"... but instead you see the name of the homebrew

You can extract the contents of the .pkg then modify the file with an .sfo editor, and then repackage

But for paranoid stealth (at param.sfo level) you need to change the TITLE_ID too (that can be something like BLUS12345)
This value is inside the PARAM.SFO ... and inside the EBOOT.BIN (can be patched in the decrypted eboot.elf, then reencrypt)
This change also changes the name of the "install folder" when the .pkg is installed

Any retail game is valid, having a "hanna montana" game is not a reason for a ban :P
Better use an old game that has no trophies and no updates (older than 1.90 firmware), or use one of this demo.pkg etc...
