No , this works only for ps3 version up to CECH-25xxB with min. Base FW 3.56.

Nope. That article was for PS3's with min base firmware at 3.56. I triple checked this reference. This article states on "all PS3's"... the two people I feel can test this out are @playerkp420 and @itskamel ... but lets see..
