Yeah I JUST updated to his v1.02 last night... I'm good for now, think I'll wait for them to fix up the xmb so you can use categories and sorting again before I update.

I'm also on 1.00 and there is no reason to upgrade.

Why change something that actually works?

i will wait many many updates then maybe i will upgrade.

I wasn't able to update from v1.00 to v1.02, I'm assuming I won't be able to upgrade to 1.03 either.

Nice, perfect timing....So I now Im getting prepared for the update...but then this hits me:

2- Always make a NOR/Nand dump using multiMAN or memdump before installing any CFW to have a recovery backup in case of any bricks.
Having a valid NOR/Nand dump is an essential step before upgrading, because you will always have a way to recover (using hardware flashers) when you have a valid dump.
** A Hardware Flasher alone without a valid dump may not fix your bricked PS3 **

WTF? when has it been possible to do this?
And how?

Rogero 4.30 and Rebug 4.21 REX are pretty stable.
