e3 flasher black screen
Read this!
Sooo few days ago I installed e3 flasher without any problems, I was on 4.30 rogero CFW playing games  . I tried to downgrade to 3.55 kmeaw and again wanted to upgrade to 4.30 trough 3.7 rogero CEX and I was on 3.7 OFW?? So I tought to myself, no problem I will again use e3 flasher and downgrade to 3.55. And then problems started... First clip is not connected, then I connected it, after that I spent few hours to find update.bin samsung 28/10 and I got error bla bla bla... Then I found update.bin that worked and everything went good till bkpps3.bin, I didn't checked dump and installed with e3_downgrade bin, after that I got black screen. Restore doesn't work, but ps3 stays on and black screen. What should I do?************* [ - Post Merged - ] ************* someone please |

Did you patch you original bin with flowrebuilder then flash it to the E3?

After flashing the e3 downgrade.bin to console, sometimes you get black screen instead of connect controller screen. You should have tried to continue with fsm dongle, USB with files, blah blah blah. If not, you always have the flasher and you can retry all over again.

I didn't patch anything, I have problems with dump files, they're always faulty, and every time I got error metdlr not found something like that...

Your dump needs byte reversing,
Select your dump on Flowrebuilder > On Operations drop down menu Select Byte Reverse a dump > On the Select the input DUmp File, Select your dump file ( bkpps3.bin ) > Execute Operation. You will get bkpps3.swap.bin, that is your byte reversed dump.

what should i do with that bkpps3.swap.bin? Should I rename it to bkpps3.bin and put it on sd card with downgrade_bin

do not go any further until you have confirmed your dumps are valid. If they are then proceed with patching it as MJ999 has mentioned.
Once you have it patched, renamed and put on your sd card put your e3's switches to 1000000 1 = up 0 = down on the e3 also look here and it will tell you how to do all the above. http://www.ps3hax.net/showthread.php...785#post387785 |

Can I use my old dump bkpps3.bin which I downgraded with? Can I use it again?
