Not yet. I'm taking a short break to study for an exam on Tuesday, but yes I have a NAND mobo and I've tried everything except the rubbing alcohol part, since I don't have any atm.

hey guys i plan on getting the new progskeet v1.2 as well to downgrade my to 2 ps3's one 60gb and other 80gb should i get the NAND PCB 1 GBIT and 360-CLIP for both of them or just wait for the QSB BOARDS NOR / NAND which the progskeet guys state on their website is going to be released soon, also sorry for the noob question(because i'am noob in every sense of the word because this will be my first time using a hardware flasher lol) but anyway what are these so called QSB BOARDS anyway. can they be using in downgrading the ps3 like the other progskeet accessories like nand pcb, 360-clip? and also again should/is it a must to buy the nand pcb 1 gbit and 360-clip for my 60 and 80 systems to work with the new progskeet v1.2 because i don't want to order it and find out that i also need other accessories to make it work thanks

NO, You don't need to Buy NAND PCB 1 GBIT. If you are having NAND ps3's there is two way you can downgrade the console 1. NAND CLIP ( 360 Clip ) 2. Solder directly to the NAND Legs ( Very Hard ) QSB = Quick Solder Board, They are Small PCB's that can be directly soldered on to the solder points of the motherboard.

im still in the same boat as you, im going to wait for the semester to end before i take any more shots at figuring this thing out, my next step that im going to try is a different gage wire connected to the 3.3v solder points, and try getting a magnifying glass to make sure the 360 clips pins are not bent at awkward angles. ill try in a couple weeks after classes end.

I have progskeet 1.1 but i still have one problem. Anyone figured out how to power on the ps3 board only with 3.3v from progskeet? I got it working for 5 seconds and managed to start reading the nand but progskeet gets hot and then disconnected and shut down. I assume it is a kind of overheat protection built on progskeet. Anyone knows other way to give power to the nands without closing the console and attaching psu?
