I have a fat PS3 with 3.55 KMAEW that has a broken blu-ray drive. So, I can only play games that run discless.

I'm wondering what CFW would be the best/safest for me to upgrade to as far having the most compatible discless games?


Oh and one off topic question...

I got WWE 13 but when I run it, I get the "This game does not support this video output" message. I have a 42" CRT (yes I know but I cant afford an hdtv), I'm wondering what can I do to get this working? I tried PS3sfoEdit and selected all the video outputs, but all that does is stretch the video out so far, I cant see the edges of the screen... Any advice?

Rebug 4.21 and there is a tutorial for running 99% of games discless.

@metroplex2k7 : Don't use the HDMI, instead use the RGB Component cable.. Remember to hold down the power button and wait for a single beep to reset video settings, it will pick up the signal automatically..

I am using the RGB. Actually the cable are red, white, yellow. Oh and is Rebug 4.21 safe? I've heard its like a 50/50 chance of bricking...

50/50 chance of bricking? Absolutely not, maybe if you are blind, deaf, and dumb, but even then the odds are in your favour.

Read the guides and double check everything before proceeding and there will be no problems.

Not True about 50/50 brick ratio. Rebug I hear is very stable. Bricks happen because people don't read and follow directions...
