More than we have here.

I believe we need HMAC keys for installing modded updates and LV0.2/metldr .2 / bootldr .2/ priv keys etc, etc...

3.55 allows for modded PS3updat.pup to be installed on PS3, any higher FW wont allow it. 3.55 holds the only way to higher CFW still today.

In order to install cfw on 4.30 you will need private keys...which no honest dev has. The reason you were able to have cfw on 3.55 was geohot and fail0verflow found the private keys. The reason they found it was Sony did not have a randomizer in place and was easy to figure out.

Since 3.56 Sony has patched that issue and added a randomizer making it seemingly impossible to locate the private keys.

Without the private keys you won't be able to sign current cfw firmware to be able to install it on ofw. Those private keys contain signatures the ps3 uses to validate what is Sony's and what's bogus. Even if they they found a way to port the 3.41 exploit to current ofw they would still need to sign it in order for ofw users to be able to use it.
