My PS3 will play original PSX disc ( as in the case of my favourite Crash Bandicoot which I still have the disc for ) but would not play anymore the backup I made when I was on 3.55.  I still have the original disc - so precious and it's got lots of scratches on it and that's why I made a backup ).... so I'm waiting pateintly hoping for a an easy fix ...  Someone help ?

The good news is there are many new games out there to help you get through your Crash Bandicoot withdrawal symptoms, so give it some time and see what occurs.

You can use the Crash Bandicoot release from PSN PSX games also doesn´t work here...tried using multiMAN and re-signing ONE, without success

The only new firmware that has the required patching for PSX backups is REBUG.

Rebug 4.21 has a major flaw for users with backwards compatible PS3´s...PS2 retail disc games stopped working,but ps1 does work which is pretty weird,Rebug team must fix this issue
