AVRKey flashing problem

HI
I have the AVRKey dongle and i want to flash it with the PSGrade HEX in order to downgrade via e3 flasher
the problem is that the windows wont recognize my AVRKey instead it recognize it as a generic usb device and it installs the drivers by itself i used windows 7 and xp and still the same problem (the avrkey is in dfu mode i inserted it 4 times till the led is blue)
and there is no avr key at the device manager :




when i am at Atmel Flip software and want to connect to usb i am getting this error:

What is the make and model?

You also need to set the avr to programming mode each time it is plugged in:
Press "Reset"; Press "Hwb"; Release "Reset"; Release "Hwb"

are u using a 64bit windows

yes i tried on windows 7 64 bit and on windows xp and still the same problem

when I go to Device Manager it is installed as 'USB Human Interface Device' and everytime I try to manually give it a new driver it says that it has determined its the best driver and it wont work. I've also tried to disable automatic driver installation in windows then uninstall the device and try to plug it in again but it keeps installing the standard driver.

What version of atmel flip are you using? 3.11 had a problem with the jungo driver needing updating.

Try it manually:

did u install the 64bit driver ?


here is the 64 bit driver "Flip-libusb-signed-driver"

and your error is = atlibusbdfu.dll see the bit thats the same libusb

no im on 3.4.7 the latest

win 7 64 bit , uninstall the driver then i think u put usb in and it will start to search for driver . stop it and manual search for the driver thats on the file from the link and install

i cant
even when i stop it it keeps installing the standard driver
