here is the demo eboot fix for ya

If you replace the eboot in the dev_hdd0/game/demos ID with this one it should launch for you.

If it gives a error on launch then repack the demo package with this eboot, then install again.

If you dont know how to repack PKG's then reset PS3 and enter Recovery mode then use REBUILD DATABASE, after you swap the Eboot for this one of course.

Let me know what happens

those are all the solutions to get it to launch, minus the simple one of course of updateing to REX 4.21.1 or Rogero 4.3 ^_^

I would choose rebugs REX ;-) but im a bit biest when it comes to that choice as my avatar proves ^_^

@snkysnake02 what program did u use to fix this? i havent tested it yet but i have a feeling it wont work as its still only like 10mb were as the original is like 27mb. its a strange eboot that like i said has extra checks that i believe all eboot patcher programs cant handle correctly.

all eboots shrink when you fix them bud, its cause its removing the code for the FW it was intended for and replacing it with the code for 340 or 355 (aka resigning).

I have a few eboots, black ops 113 update in particular, that was like 64mb when i got it. Then when i fixed it for 355 it was 23mb. It launched just fine ^_^

Its just what the program does ^_^

its actually easy with simple tools like darkebootfixer3.0
you put the eboot.bin and .sprx files in the root folder of the program, run the darkebootfixer.exe follow the instructions in the cmd window let it run and bam you get the fixed files in the same root folder.

The e boot.bin & selfs / sprx will shrink if choose that option .It is how many NPDRM are signed .It is not cause of the firmware so you know. Some are compressed some are not . Personally it dont matter with many but i try & match the original .

Anyways ,to all your guys the new games have many more checks which makes fixing them allot more work .This is the issue atm ,if i get some more light / info bout this. I will continue fixing new games atm lack of if all patches are different ,etc makes it much harder to do....
