Okay so I used this url,http://getprof.gb.np.community.plays..._profile.Tryed genrating passwords and guessing usernames.Turned into ip,8.15.7.110 + 65.200.200.50.Scanned ports.Trying connecting to ports,no hope.Then try telnet,it connects but i don't knwo if it works.But i have an idea,since this deals with handling profiles then i suggest attaching something to a profile so when it sends we ccan find out what the file sends the server to get in through password.Tell me what you thinka dn help!

The thread title states almost cracked which is a massive overstatement according to your stated progress.

I'll give it a little tweak and see if I can find out anything which might help you along a bit.

If its to gain access to that location then forget it as its highly illegal.

My point is becareful about what you are admitting to online. ;-)

Also as a side point I resolve that host to 198.107.158.150

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

I'm certain there won't be just the one server hosting that, which is why it will resolve to a different IP everytime you finger it.

What port did you telnet to? Whilst I don't really get what you're trying to do, it looks as though the page runs over port 80 (HTTP), so I doubt any other ports will be open (if they care at all about security) on that host.

There are many servers holding the profile details.

Also the ipdetails are static.

Also about the new protocal. Back on subject it would seem that under the old version the PS3 used to use the normal update check used by the console and now it uses two update.txt files
first it checks the main one

http://fus01.ps3.update.playstation....updatelist.txt

and then it does a seperate check

http://fshop01.ps3.update.playstatio...updatelist.txt

as you can see there is a seperate updatelist for the shop.
