Hi there,

I've just updated my 3.55 to 4.30 rogero.
I've read that you can acces psn again while using rogero, well I'm not.
It gives me a DNS error 80710104. I've checked my settings for over 1000 times now, but it won't connect.
An other strange thing is that my ps3 says it is in Demo mode when trying to open PSN from the game menu or PSHome. I've did the whole walkthru on installing 4.30 step by step, so I don't know whatthe problem can be.

By the by, is it correct that cert files are region locked?

There is a fix for that i believe at the source site.

I hope you installed the new version ? There was i guess some issues with the cinavia patches ..So he removed them ,i also think he fixed the problem your having . Check the site out will answer your questions .i am on Rebug 421.1 REX so, i know about this issue but never dealt with this .

thats a Playstaion Home fix your sending him too ^_^ he might be getting that error cause $ony recently updated there GUI for the store and it requires you to download a update ^_^

he may need the PSN update and install it to correct that problem. I made a package somewhere in this forum for the PSN update

so follow @ZOMBIEKILLAH link to get the home fix and if your still having trouble with the psn store, try installing the store update I have posted here. Helped the guy in the other thread who was having that problem on rogero as well

or you could just update to 4.30.03( asked me to update app and it installed fine rogero 4.30.2)

But i've allready downgraded my ps3 back to rogero 3.55 and found out that it is a random bug.
If more people have this problem, got to recovery meny and start System restore. It should solve the problem.... Atleast its what i have readed.

The program didn't work. I'm making backups now and im going to system restore after that.

Did you install that software to get on the PS store ? I did not i was not sure if was good idea ,when i got a prompt trying to assess PSN store i denied it.? So did you notice anything different after ,i know they did changes ,so i figure this was maybe why, but i still did not do it yet. I use my download list to get all my stuff + activate my PS3 to get another 3 act.dat's for 3 users on my ps3. Then i downloaded everything without accessing the store..

So imam guessing it is safe ,direct from psn for that software to install ? I don't mean to hijack but this is talk bout the same issue, i believe..

Yeah its safe ^_^ I installed works fine for me, after it installs the. First initial launch into the new updated store takes a few minutes (acts like its just stuck, but I'm guessing its just ps3 setting itself up with the update) then anytime after that initial launch it boots right into it ^_^

The new interface is pretty cool ^_^ but it seems kinda slow to me, unlike original store which was pretty quick. I'm sure you will see the difference :-)

Goto Rebugs 4.21.1 REX :-D in my opinion they have the best cfw to date :-) you should be able to jump right from your current cfw straight to REX ^_^ check there site for more details :-)

I have never had any issues with any rebug cfw. :-)

Thats the update I download on REX, found it in my dev_hdd0 and repacked it for someone who was looking for it. 4.21 REX you should just be prompted to update when accessing the store, and you can download update like that. Its only 30mb ^_^ quick update for store :-)

So yes it would be a pkg so you can update manually :-)

@snkysnake02 Did you sign that psn package eboot ? If you did not,that update is 420 signed ,so this i bet is software not only for ps store but require i bet for each firmware update to get on ps store .They i bet are trying to stop CFW from accessing the store once past 430 = no get to store.
