Hi guys i have a strange problem with my PS3 60GB launch model,whenever i try to start the campaign on Black Ops 2 the console shuts off itself,this also happens with Tekken Tag Tournament 2(Shutdown when a fight starts no matter what) and Star Wars The Force Unleashed II(during the first cutscene console shutsdown),but every other games work fine with no problems,i know its not YLOD cause i can turn on the console after the shutdown and for sure its not an overheating problem cause the temperature of the CPU is never above 65c and the GPU is always under 60c,but its really annoying ive replaced HDD with a new one,replaced the Powersupply,replaced thermal paste but she keeps turning off after starting those games which is really odd cause all of my games work fine except those 3 games,i can play any game without any issue for hours,but for those 3 games seems like my PS3 doesnt like them xD,i re-downloaded the games again and the problem continues,tried many CFW's and didnt solve the problem...

ok, this post will probably make no sense since it only happens to 3 games, but is there nothing wrong with your power/eject board, so that the power button is triggered sometimes without you touching it?

for the rest i have no clue yet, your problem is too vague...lol

you could unplug the ribbon cable from the power/eject board to see if that makes any difference, the ps3 will start fine with out that board.

Im aware that my system is 5 years Old but still i dont get why it only happens with these specific games xD,every other game i play has not issues at all,it could be that these 3 games are stressing the Power supply too much,but still i replaced it with another PSU but problem persists

I have had games do this in the past. Cant remember what I did to resolve the issue, but its likely a configuration problem or bad eboot param.sfo.

to my knowledge the original power supply from the 60gb is powerfull enough.

most people that had issues with the psu also had no standby led after the shutdown i think.

if you would have a fan mod you could speed it up to see if it's heating related.

Hello, download the original param.sfo for these games and try to see if they run well.
Already happened to me and it was because of the param.sfo that was misconfigured.

Black Ops 2,and Tekken Tag 2 are retail games,ST:TFU2 was downloaded twice and still shutting down and has the original PARAM.SFO

This is the PS3s automatic response to pirated games, you mustn't have installed the software that blocks piracy detection, so you will have to buy all your games now or your PS3 will brick, you should have installed that software first...........
