ok guys im back at it again i was gonna order a progskeet etc but there a bit expensive yes i know why be a cheap skate when it comes to an expensive machine
well for one i wanna make a tutorial for my buddys over at acidmods.com
second not every one has the money to shell out for a progskeet

so after a bit of reading i came across a teensy++ around 25 to 30$ which isnt bad really dont care about dual booting anymore since i have an 3xxx series ps3 for online play

after browsing around i came across a teensy ++ and a teensy 3.0
whats the diff? and can the teensy 3.0 be flashed with the norway hex file?
or should i just stick with a teensy++

and doesn anyone know where i can get them pretty cheap?

You'll need a Teensy++ 2.0. The new Teensy 3.0 doesn't have enough I/O lines. Once there's a Teensy++ 3.0 available, I'll certainly make a NORway version for it.

You can also order one there. Don't forget to order the 3.3V voltage regulator as well.

can i leave the teensy installed or do i gotta remove it?
also as of right now whats the highest ofw that i can downgrade from? i have a pre 3.55 console so i know for a fact i can downgrade

You can leave it installed.

Any OFW can be downgraded if your console came with <=3.55.

do i gotta flash it with a file to leave it installed?
only wanna keep it in there in case something goes wrong i dont have to resolder it in there

Just keep the NORway.hex on it (but disconnect Teensy from USB). Or flash psgrade (see first post of Teensy support thread for a link) if you don't have any other JIG device.
