I really don't undertand why people try to deviate from the instructions the CFW dev provides. If it would be totally safe (/possible) to upgrade through XMB it would say so in the instructions.

This is how you get false claims that CFW leads to bricks and it helps nobody...

the first time i tried Rogero 4.30, it didnt work.
so i tried Rebug 4.21 and its working great! sticking to Rebug cfw for now

I know this is to soon but... is somebody working on a new exploit for 3K and 4K consoles now that we have complete access to the PS3 firmware? Is there even a rumour?

If we had complete access to the PS3 then yes, one would be out tomorrow.

We do not have complete access to the PS3 hence why those on or downgrade to 3.55 are still the only ones who can install cfw.
