I was thinking the same. Maybe they **** up when porting everything to their new cfw and reveal a loop to us. Then bye bye to the secrets of their dongle.

@ginnza Understand your point of view now. The *Metamorphosis* of DRM.

Again the same comments were made last year that cobra wasn't as bad as they opened up new features unlike tb which was game based dongle.
Yes it should be free but until someone talented enough and has the morals to match it won't be free.
I wouldn't blame anyone for buying it , it's their money in the end and can spend it how they see fit.
I'm just a suspicious mtherfcker by nature and I can't help but draw comparisons to a year ago.

Very understandable, considering the similar structure of Cobra and TB CFWs.
I don't see how they would screw us up again here though.

I''d love their network loading capabilities of PS3 games and PS1...
And at some point they would probably implement it for PSP too..

since no one is interested in trying out the work left on iso.bin.edats, and Cobra is probably going to implement the ps2_netemu, i'll wait anxiously for them, since i'm a big retro fan.

Exactly. PSP/PS2 related files were decripted recently, but since it seems noone is working on it, Cobra is using them to update it's dongle functionality...

If they actually bring something new on the table like being compatible with newer consoles. I think at least there is some progress for people and its a good thing even if its for now just drm dongles. If not which is the more likely scenario well f**k them.

I bet you if we added up all the time *****ing about the cobra dongle, we'd have already figured out how to do what they do. I'd also argue that figuring out how they do it would be easier than trying to crack the dongle.

If no one is willing to invest the time (strange that we have time to ***** though) then I don't think anyone has the right to complain if they charge money or not. They put in the effort (even if it wasn't their code to start) did you? Sure you can argue this but I bet over 90% of the people complaining are more or less pissed that they can't pirate.

BTW, I'm still not going to buy this.
