i havent had a PS3 for some time and likely wont in the forseeable future, ($$ Problems) but the only reasons i see why some will like Cobra unlike the Massive hate around TB, (i'm glad i guess my PS3 Died before all this dongle war began)

PS1/PS2 Networked Loading. (load PS1/PS2 ISO's over the network)
easier PSP/PS2/PS1 ISO loading. (able to play Imports & games that the FW normally blocks (cheatdiscs/games marked as "Incompatable" [for Semi-bc consoles])

thats it.. (and i believe about the only reason those who bout that redrm dongle was just those two features)

i'll say myself the ability to load iso's over network .. wish i had that back before we had even 3.55 cfw (aka durring 3.41 JB days) so many burn discs and alot of swapping to make imports working. ;-;

cobra lets you play ps1/2 games from cd-r/dvd-r straight from the xmb, talk about ps3 being hacked...to this day no cfw does that. or you can load the backups from mmcm. they make it convenient for an additional some thousand games in your library

To crack this dongle is a lot harder than you think and has to be done in realtime under a USB debugger that's y they used beagle too do it the first time just for the code. There is other ways of doin things n ppl have done it they dnt wanna release for piracy reasons. I'm not for DRM or against it but at the end of the day we all need bread and butter

I hope a talented developers goes in a quest into cracking this dongle. I've had enough of this ''Holy grail'' type of untouchable dongle that people admire/won't crack. It's a DRM'd dongle. It should be cracked as soon as possible. The security should be doable - Don't let those crooks as Snowydew and others get more cash as they already have.

PSP EMU must be be released for free. It's imperative especially after all those awesome leaks and unity we have had.

Must be released for free? are you sure?.
They have no *obligations* towards any community so if they want to keep counting cash good for them and bad for us.

But i doubt Imperative and free goes hand to hand when money is involved and creative process is murdered because of that.

I'm missing something about this. Are they storing the emu files on the dongle? We have the lv0 keys, it doesn't seem possible for them to store it in a CFW.
