Ps3 Blu Ray Help - Cannot Read Games
Hello Ps3Hax, my problem is that awhile back I bought blu ray and put it in my ps3 didn't remarry it and put in mw2 and it started then clicked on multiplayer and it frooze so I pushed eject and It returned me to xmb, so then i put dead island on and went to multiman and tried ripping it and it went for 5 seconds then stopped ripping, I tried multiple times with different games same thing happened. I then tried running dead island and it gave me an error I cannot remember, so I remarried the drive and I forgot to put a blu ray before exiting fsm, i'm not sure if it was nessary but I forgot. So when I exited fsm I tried a game and got and error about the game being dirty and it wasn't I tried other games same thing. But now it won't read games all the time as it only spins but game won't show up on xmb.
I can run normal dvds though, so does anyone have any Ideas on a fix? |

sounds like the laser has kick the bucket and will be needing replacement!

Was it a used BD-DRIVE you acquired? What is the model# of your ps3? |

That would be an older model. Chances are you bought a used drive, remarried it, and it lasted just long enough to sell it to you as working. You should consider buying a new laser. From a reputable company. I believe, from your model # you need a KEM-400A laser.
