Sounds crap specs, Wii U will get leap frogged once the propper next gen consoles come from Sony & MS. I'll pass on this crap as I did the Wii.

I plan on buying Sonys nex console thou, for sure. Can't wait to see specs and tech/game demo's, hopefully at e3 2013.

I'll wait until the region lock gets busted before buying one. Hopefully the process isn't as complicated as on the 360

And it's so weird that you can use an external drive to play legit console games... They could've at least included USB 3.0 support, loading would've been at least 3 times faster than USB 2.0

The Wii wiped the floor with the PS3 and the 360, it has crap specs compared to both of them, it is still wiping the floor with both those consoles

Wi sales are dropping off at an alarming rate, thats why Ninty bringing Wii U out.

Wii = 97million
PS3 = 68million
360 = 70million

I bet both PS3 and 360 will catch and overtake Wii sales, thats a given.

I find that hard to believe. With both Microsoft and Sony slated to have new consoles released next year. That means the prices of both PS3's and 360's will drop. At that point you'll probably be able to get 360's from a local pawn shop for $40. You can get them for $80 easily right now. So how do you figure they're going to sell 30 million consoles each within the next year. You might as well face it, Nintendo won this round. There's also the fact that many $ony customers have become disenchanted by their bad business practices.

Anyway, I look forward to it once they have a way for me to play my HDD of wii games on it.
