I think that's exactly how you do it, which is to create a text file with your new MAC address and then rename it to mac.bin, BUT the Engrish in the readme and the vague instructions don't help either.

why would you even do this? CFW and psn should be kept seperate. Get a second ps3 for your psn needs (there pretty cheap nowadays) and if you want to play online with your "backups" then why not set up xlink kai and play online with that. I dont understand why you need to call a dev stupid when your most likely using his cfw in the first place.

Xlink Kai is only useful when games have a LAN feature, which is how applications like Tunngle work as well, but sadly, the number of LAN featured games is reducing and now most games ONLY have online multiplayer with online pass requirements for used game copies, so that's almost out of the equation, and that's why I will NOT buy any of EA's games that require this crap and the same goes for games from other game developers who resort to that crap.
