will i know for sure that the Spansion 128P is a pain also with V1.1. i ordered the V1.2 but still not received, and i think i will but it aside until it is fully tested and supported since i have my V1.1.

Will i really do not know if you tried that but; i have done a lot of Spansion P chip and they are a pain:
For sure if you have verification errors: it is one of two things or both combined :-):
1- check your wires again and again and make sure they are not touching anything else but since you are doing RGH and you are good in wiring we can roll this out. (but double check). Reading Good Dumb does not mean your wiring is perfect since i had this issue with two Ps3 and get good read but bad write so i did re-wired every thing.

2- the second issue which is the common one and it solved 90% of the problem is:
- Use WinSkeet40000_111004 instead of the newest one
- connect the Progskeet as libusb Via zadig
- write the dumb at 8bit.
- use X86 windows 7 or XP
this done it for all my Spansion

if you still has issues try bridge the (gp4 on progskeet) with (rdy on progskeet) with small wire and wire the (RY/BY# on PS3) to (rdy on progskeet) alone as usual.

First of all, i want to say thank you to the people who bother with my problem and try to help me to find a solution, even if there are no solution for this crapy programer and my crapy NOR chip.

yes, that is a great tutorial.I believe one of the first that i followed at the beginning of my instalation.If you read my last post again you will notice that i mentioned the strange advice for the RY/BY (wich is legended with RDY on the new progskeet diagrams) that i readed before.But has you can confirm that is for PSkeet 1.1, the 1.2 doesn´t even have the GP4 pad.but thank´s for your help



to oGZxFTW - I tryed to enter IRC, but i stopped using MIRC at 15 years ago.I dont even remeber how to change a channel.Could you leave some advice here for a special setup that you mentioned on SPANSION NOR 128P?THKS


To Biozombie Yes, i am really thinking on buying the E3 Flasher or the Progskeet 1.1 (if i buy this one it would be like if i didnt learn anything with my mistakes).What do you think about both of them?Wich one do you think i should buy? I would like to try the 1.1 version but im afraid that i could mess up with the need of removing the R7 resistor and the R8, right?

I have both progskeet and e3 flasher. If you are a power user and dont make noob mistakes, e3 is faster and better. You just need to use some good fixing idea for the clip like coin or similar.
I am a little dissapointed in progskeet because of a lot of promises but nothing really finished. Like solderless nand clips or nor clips. They promised 1year ago official clips, both nand and nor but nothing. Unofficial can brick consoles. Instead of makeing better and easier way for downgrade they just released new pskeet that have more bugs that previous one. Sad but true.
If the pskeet could flash nands and nor chips without problems and without opening/closing the console more times (it was the initial idea as i remember, thats why i bought pskeet), i would never use e3 flasher again.

i have 4 ps3 to downgrade 2 slims and 2 phat.. you think e3 is a better option? i have the progskeet v.1.2 but i haven't found anybody that have luck doing a downgrade.

like i said before, 1.1 is good, ive done many ps3 slim and fat with diffrent nor chip no problems if your dump is okay, just follow the tutorial on ps3devwiki and ur good.

hi guy ...i need a little help..my system(both window 7 and windows xp) are unable to see or update my progskeet v1.2 via the injectus. it saw it once but the update was not succesful. now when i connect the injectus and the progskeet v1.2 with fcc cable to the system..the system does not respond at all,,,what should i do pls?

Such a noob I started here and worked stuff out myself I also know how to find and remap bad blocks in a NAND where it's so bad flo rebuilder cannot extract anything

So ask your self is it sarah1331 that cannot do **** or yourself that is ****
I have many years experience in electronics why should I go to the bother of uploading a vid I have nothing to prove to you

So just keep asking for help in the correct place people Will help you just want someone to shout

There are two ways of power from the outside ( power Supply PC )and the inside (Ps3 power Supply)
Never connect the power from usb (does not work)
For NOR flash is the best method PS3 power supply ! (I had version 1.1 and no problem)(Write all cable length not matter)



on the length of the cable never had a problem with any NOR
I thought that the new one will be better and bull****.
New is tacky with cheap components
Buy 1.1 is ok and never buy clips
