you can dump your mac address, back up it, edit it and save it as mac.bin... its not that hard

Well, all of most recent bans have been due to BlackOps2 (duh).. However, it seems that changing MAC address will not allow us to get back on their servers.. All Copies of the game have been given a unique serial no.. A friend of mine got his copy yesterday and told me about it.. So, activision keeps track of logins on basis of this serial no and when more than one copy of the same serial is detected (Ex:DUPLEX Serial, definitely more than 100 copies now)we get a BanWave.. I will confirm this myself as soon as I get my own copy..

I can confirm this isn't true. I was denied access to the servers with my legally purchased copy on CFW. I mean I was allowed to start a game of Zombies but after a couple minutes I was logged out with a server error. So I made a backup of the game via multiman. No matter if I tried to play the game from the disk or backup the PS3 would keep freezing at the loading screen. I was angry and since I had already made a backup I sold my legit copy to a friend. We went to his house and he was able to play online immediatye from the disk on OFW...after I had already been and continue to be denied access from the same disc. If your theory was true I don't think it would work for him.

Found this post in ps3iso. Can anybody try this and confirm if it works: "on MM you need to activate BDmirror and select Intenal Game..then go on Rebug toolbox and search PSID to 0x85 (your region) and deselect on MM Hermes Loader..use standart..and install 1.02 pkg first..im online and doenst banned or else..but 1 important think..I USE DUPLEX VERSION OF BO2..maybe its different..IDK

i have tried to put the mac address in every format 11 22 33 44 55 66 didnt work i put 11:22:33:44:55:66 didnt work i have tried every format that i can think of sense its so simple can someone help me it saves my original mac (mac_original.bin) in a crazy format like 00100 .... @Firebuble have u even used this app before ......
