Yes this is still working for me it has been well over 7 hours now

Also I am no longer using a proxy just using a different IP address on the console which is easily done with a new psn account for black ops

My original psn works for any other game

But like I said this is only useful if
1 you done mind updating to OFW
2. Or have a flashe to get back to cfw

Wow wow , hold your horses you are just stating that now it works because
you are on OFW ??
This is quiet normal no ?

Changing your local IP has nothing to do with this, it's just that you had to wait a little while
for your console not being flagged as CFW anymore .

This is why it's much better to have 2 consoles ! one CFW and one OFW if you want online activities .

It does because even after updating to OFW you cannot log on with the original IP address
It needs to be changed

Also I have had the retail disc since Saturday and not been able to log on with OFW until I changed the ip of the console

Local ip has nothing to do with it

it just takes time to get you in the list of accepted hosts .

Because your console was flagged as CFW .
