im born english and i cant write english properly, but for one thing i can understand what hellsing9, and other mods write . maybe they should write the news in there own language then the op would have some to moan about .

mods do a great job and i wouldn't change it . it make this site what it is , and its a bloody great site

@stuck? Is true what you say but also is true that news poster need to have that skill of *transforming* some topic that it's very complex into something easy to read.

Anytime this topic arises is pretty obvious who is the one at *fault* = Me. Don't get me wrong im not playing the victim here.
But i don't know who came up with some *crazy* idea about being 100% typo-free on the news and be professional journalist.

We don't NEED in some imperative way to write the *finest* english to post news (Just look member news, users submits their news and get frontpaged). Most of the times my sources (that have english as first language) have more typos than me and i can't FIX the source.

We are not:

1) IGN
2) Gamespot
3) You name it

It's about generating debates, even with broken-english. To the community to interact with the news posted.
Look Annelies his writing skills are almost at the same level of greg's but how much attention the news posted by annelies draw?.
Even being with 0 typos, perfectly redacted and to the point very few thanked Annelies for deliver some complex content into something easy to read to some of us.

Greg's well wtf i can say about him? he is the one, he has years on HAX and he is news machine, now with manster better!.
Im just in some weird equation that my articles often get filled with...*Come on!! stop writing you JACKASS!* but well have to deal with that it's some side effect of me being s-mod.

Don't know what's all the fuzz about...but well another one *****ing about my english.

I only scrubbed a bit of the surface with my homonym/homophone comment. That's just the tip of the confusing English language.

Once you try converting over slang english and/or words like bare/bear their/they're/their it's/its, etc; it all gets more confusing. To try and convert the English language into another language (or vice versa) you would need to be pretty fluent in both regards.

Though, even if you didn't make a typo, I'm sure there would still be something else for somebody to harp about.

I have no problem in translate english (with slang) to Spanish.
Problem is when i am writing that my spanglish get's all mixed up.

So if i want to say: (Example)

(My spanish):

El articulo deseado por tantos usuarios esta teniendo bajas en ventas por el poco interés del publico en general y el poco catalogo que posee la vita.
A merced de ser un producto con gran potencial, esta encadenado a que los desarrolladores e incluso sony mismo perdió el interés en el mismo y comenzó a venderlas en bundles para atraer así, potenciales compradores.

(My english):

This so desired article by many users has a big problem with low sales due lack of interest from general view and poor catalogue (of games) that vita owns.
The product itself has enough potential but is chained by 2 factors:

1) Developers losing interest.
2) Sony creating bundles to lure more potential buyers.

If you use google translate they are many adjectives, verbs in spanish that can't be translated easy to english.
